Future Talent Council Event in Malta

The Future Talent Council certainly picks great places for their events.

Historic Valletta, Malta offered an inspiring setting to reflect on the architecture of yesteryear and consider what it is we are building for tomorrow. 

The conversations around AI were there - but loud and clear - was the theme of connection as a basis for framing meaningful human interactions - both with tech but also with one another. 

It was the building blocks of flourishing, agency, durable skills , trust , courage and possibilities that started to offer a foundation for transformation and growth. 

Throughout our capacity to ‘be a learner’ seemed ever present. A mindset that defines how we engage with challenges and change with relevance to every stage of our lives. 

As I reflect on the event - I am left with a strong sense of the need for us to join up the designs we have to enable flourishing and connection in the different spaces within which we experience our everyday lives. If we can ‘connect’ in each of these arenas the possibilities are powerful. 

This demands a level of bravery where we don’t seek evolution of broken systems but revolution - those systems need to change into something different. 

On these building blocks there is hope. 

We now need to get designing!
