Chapter 6 - Power up your thinking

This episode turns theory into practice... The way we think about the learner matters. It shapes our methods, practices and ultimately children’s experiences. So, if we want to create an effective learning environment that strengthens value, voice and vision, the starting place must be ‘us’.

Our job title or years of experience do not provide a ‘pass’ that allows us to ‘skip’ this step – if we are involved in nurturing learning experiences then it is important that we are continuously reviewing how we think about the learner.
