Ambassador Trial Programme Underway
September 2025 has seen us launch an important pilot with the University of Bedfordshire.
We have integrated our new LEARN 2050 Educators Ambassador programme into their PGCE course - a one year post graduate teaching qualification - for secondary school teachers.
It is a significant opportunity to connect the vision and ambition the university has for teachers with the approach we have developed. Combining opportunities to explore learning experiences from the viewpoint of the educator and learner, building knowledge and understanding that better informs:
The context or environment we create for learning
How we activate our own learning
The Ambassador programme will introduce trainee teachers to Learning Allowed’s Five Elements bringing these to life through a series of workshops and online content.
Workshop 1 provided a foundation by establishing a link between how we feel and how we learn. It encourages a perspective of learning that is not rigid or fixed, restricted by mindsets that force you into a box of being a ‘non learner’.
Rather, it helps us see our engagement as learners on a continuum - one that is influenced by different factors including our emotions and feelings.
Recognising what influences our learning connections allows us to think deeply about:
the environment we might create for the learner; and
how we can encourage a focus on spaces that promote positive trusting relationships that see value in our individual journeys and not just the final destination.
More details to come as this pilot programme unfolds!
