Chapter 4 - What is learning for?
How we think about the learner matters, as it deeply influences the purpose we attach to learning itself. In this episode, we think about what is learning for.
In the context of a constantly changing world, this episode explains the need for a transition from an obsession with learning as performance, where targets and results related to cognitive regurgitation are all important towards a model of learning that is about a deeper relationship with knowledge and how we might use it as part of navigating our everyday lives. Here, we get the chance to add to our awareness of the barriers and enablers that impact our sense of value, voice and vision.
